These endeavors are built on a lifelong reverence for the natural world, shaped by personal experience. Growing up, my early exposure to Ranger Rick magazine sparked a deep fascination with conservation, storytelling, and photography, an influence that has guided me ever since. Beyond that, the wilderness became more than just a source of inspiration; it was a place of refuge, healing, and connection. In the mountains, forests, and oceans, I found peace, adventure, and a profound sense of belonging, something I lacked elsewhere. The natural world has given me clarity, purpose, and a deep appreciation for the interconnectedness of life.
Through Gathered Light, I seek to pass that same sense of wonder, respect, and responsibility to others.
This is more than a magazine, a gallery, or a publishing house, it is a mission. It is a call to slow down, to see the world with clarity and care, and to recognize that we are all connected. By illuminating the stories of our planet and its people, we empower action and preserve what matters most.

About Gathered Light Publishing
A natural extension of Gathered Light Gallery, Gathered Light Publishing is dedicated to producing books that illuminate the beauty of art, photography, and conservation. Born from a deep reverence for the natural world and the power of storytelling, our publishing house exists to give voice to artists, photographers, and educators whose work aligns with our mission: fostering connection, awareness, and a sense of responsibility toward our planet and its cultures.
Whether through photography books, educational works, or conservation-focused publications, we aim to bring compelling stories and visuals into the world, creating books that inspire, educate, and resonate.
We offer a full range of publishing services, including book concept development, design, layout, print preparation, ISBN and barcode acquisition, and assistance with both large press runs and print-on-demand (POD) services. As part of the Gathered Light universe, our authors and artists will have an online presence within our ecosystem, with additional support for setting up independent distribution.
Every exhibition at Gathered Light Gallery will be accompanied by a beautifully crafted book, extending the experience beyond the walls of the gallery. Alongside these show-specific collections, we will publish a diverse range of works that celebrate art, nature, and the human experience.
